The Basics

Supervised Visitation, Explained

Supervised visitation is a court-ordered arrangement in which parenting time happens with a neutral monitor present. The monitor documents each session in plain, objective language that can be provided to attorneys and the court. The goal is continuity: children keep a consistent relationship with their parent while the legal process runs its course.

Our Process

Supervised Visits, the TruVisit Way

TruVisit does not operate a visitation facility — our supervisors come to neutral community locations. In the Salt Lake City area, visits typically happen at public parks, library meeting spaces, playgrounds, and family-friendly public places near the child's home in communities like West Valley City, Sandy, and Murray. When a court order allows it, visits can also be held in a home setting. Your case coordinator confirms each location in advance so both parents know exactly where and when.
