Pricing Questions

What does the $150 intake fee cover?
The intake fee is a one-time charge paid at the start of your case. It covers your initial intake call, case file setup, review of your court order, and assignment of a TruVisit-certified supervisor. You pay this once — it does not recur.
How does the report pricing work?
Your first two session reports per calendar month are included at no charge. After that, additional reports are $25 each. Most clients need one report per session, so for families with two visits per month, reports are fully covered.
Is there a minimum session length?
Sessions have a 2-hour minimum at $65 per hour, so the minimum session cost is $130. Additional time beyond the first two hours is billed in one-hour increments. Most court-ordered visits range from two to three hours depending on the order. We will always confirm the session length in advance with both parties.
Who pays — custodial or non-custodial parent?
Payment responsibility is typically outlined in your court order. Many orders specify that the non-custodial parent is responsible for supervision costs. We work with whatever arrangement your order dictates and can discuss payment logistics during your intake call.
Do you offer payment plans?
We understand that family court proceedings are expensive. Please discuss your situation with our intake coordinator — we will do our best to work with you on a schedule that keeps your case moving forward.

FAQ

Common Questions About Supervised Visitation in Cheyenne

Can't find your answer? Reach out through our online intake form — we're happy to walk you through the process.

Get Started
What is supervised visitation and do I need it?
Supervised visitation is a court-ordered arrangement where a neutral professional is present during a visit between a child and a parent. Wyoming's district courts order it in custody and visitation matters when there are safety concerns, a history of conflict, or a relationship being rebuilt under monitored conditions. If your order from the First Judicial District specifies supervised visitation, you'll need a qualified provider like TruVisit.
How do I get started with TruVisit Cheyenne?
Complete our online intake form and have a copy of your court order ready. We review the requirements, collect the $150 intake fee, assign a certified supervisor, and typically activate your case within 48 to 72 hours. Expedited intake is available for $300.
Where do visits take place in the Cheyenne area?
At neutral community locations agreed to by both parties and approved by TruVisit — city parks, libraries, indoor play areas, and family-friendly restaurants across Cheyenne, Ranchettes, and Fox Farm-College, with service east to Burns and Pine Bluffs and west to Laramie.
Are your reports accepted by Wyoming's First Judicial District Court?
Yes. TruVisit session reports are objective, timestamped, and formatted to meet the documentation standards of Wyoming's First Judicial District Court at the Laramie County Governmental Complex in Cheyenne, as well as the Second Judicial District serving Albany County families in Laramie.
What if my court order requires specific documentation?
Walk us through the order's language at intake and we'll match our reporting to it — including any formatting preferences from your attorney or GAL.
Can my attorney contact TruVisit directly?
Yes — Wyoming counsel and GALs can contact us online to discuss a case, request reports, or coordinate documentation, at no extra charge.
What happens if a session needs to be rescheduled?
High plains weather can upend any plan — contact your coordinator as early as possible and we'll set a new time with both parties and the supervisor. We ask for 24 hours notice when you can give it.
